Twitter can be a great tool to use with your students to connect them with the world around them and so they can learn about different cultures and how different things are in different countries. This can be a great history lesson and can also teach different languages. Another pro of using twitter is that you can connect your students who are immigrants or are from different countries with other students who still live in their birth country and they can connect and talk with them an discuss school and whatever else they have interest in knowing more about.
